SOFT TISSUE MOBILIZATION

Similar to massage, soft tissue mobilization utilizes hands-on techniques to improve extensibility of tissue and reduce tension in a specific area.

JOINT MOBILIZATIONS

A joint mobilization is a passive force applied to a specific joint in order to improve joint mobility and reduce restriction in a given region. It may include movement combined with this force or use of objects just as belts or bolsters to assist in getting the desired effect!

PERCUSSION MASSAGE

A percussion massager is a tool that provides rapid, repeat pressure to an area of increased tension or pain. It is utilized to improve tissue extensibility and flush out a given area. It sounds scary but it feels fantastic!

INSTRUMENT ASSISTED SOFT TISSUE MOBILIZATION (IASTM)

IASTM is the utilization of a tool or an instrument to perform soft tissue mobilization. This tool or instrument is utilized in a specific way and for specific conditions to enhance outcomes and create change that our hands otherwise may not be able too.

DRY NEEDLING

Dry needling is a medical treatment where a thin needle is inserted into a muscle to help relieve pain and tightness. The needle is called "Dry" because it does not have any medication or liquid in it. The needle is used to target specific areas of the muscle to help improve blood flow and reduce pain.
